PURESHORE MS-ONE is an MSA-based, pure tin plating process designed for deposition of reflowable, pure tin in medium and high speed equipment. The non-fluoborate process is specially formulated to produce matte to semi-bright pure tin deposits and designed to avoid oiling out of the organic compounds. PURESHORE MS-ONE deposits have a consistent and stable surface morphology and are suitable as a “low whisker” lead-free alternative finish. The pure tin deposits contain minimum carbon inclusions that exhibit excellent covering power and a high degree of ductility. The deposits exhibit superb solderability and reflowability over a wide range of electrolyte parameters, like temperature and current density ranges, as well as high efficiency, low foam and uniform dissolution of anodes. PURESHORE MS-ONE is an extremely versatile and robust process that is ideally suited for plating parts with complex geometries, including electronic housing and connectors.
