HOPASS SKY
HOPASS SKY trivalent chromium passivations are suitable for all electroplating systems and for various applications. HOPASS SKY passivations are applied on the zinc layer to give deep blue deposits at very low concentrations (2%). HOPASS SKY passivations are free of cobalt and fluoride ions.
HOPASS SKY are an economical passivations that lasts a long bath life and meets the requirements for exterior appearance, and supports and enhances corrosion resistance for best results, exceeding 168 h to WR (White Corrosion). Ideal for both, rack and barrel applications, HOPASS SKY passivations ensure uniform deep blue deposits, while meeting today's complex design requirements. The passivate layers are listed in the IMDS system under code 3641289 and meet ELV, RoHS and WEEE requirements. HOPASS SKY offers ease of handling and a wide operating range. HOPASS SKY, then SEATOPS seals and HOTOPS lacquers also optimize the corrosion protection.
