HOPASS BLACK trivalent chrome passivations are suitable for all zinc electroplating systems and for various applications. HOPASS BLACK passivations are applied on the zinc layer giving the same deep black color as the hexavalent.
HOPASS BLACK passivations are free from cobalt and fluoride ions.
HOPASS BLACK are an economical passivations that lasts a long bath life and meets the requirements for exterior appearance, and supports and enhances corrosion resistance for best results, exceeding 144 h to WR (white corrosion). Ideal for both, rack and barrel applications, HOPASS BLACK passivations ensure uniform black deposits, while meeting today's complex design requirements. HOPASS BLACK, then SEATOPS seals and HOTOPS lacquers also optimize the corrosion protection.
