cyanade silver

CYAG is a silver cyanide electroplating process suitable for rack and barrel applications. The process produces bright hard silver deposits with reproducible hardness that can be adjusted from 100 up to 200 HV by means of a hardener additive. CYAG is suitable for decorative purposes which require a higher hardness, e.g. cutlery, silverware and musical instruments. CYAG benefits: 

  • Color is white metallic 
  • Purity is 97 – 99 % of Ag 
  • Alloy with Antimony 
  • Silver concentration is between 20 – 40 
  • Hardness:150 – 220 
  • Good wear resistance
