yellow bronze

BRONX YL is an ammonia-free, cyanide based yellow bronze electroplating process that produces a yellow, bright copper-tin-zinc alloy for rack applications. The deposit is slightly levelling and has excellent corrosion resistance. It can be used as a nickel substitute as an undercoat to gold. BRONX YL eliminates allergy problems often encountered with nickel coatings and is suited for all decorative applications.
Deposits of BRONX YL can be easily treated by patina and blackening to surface ageing.
