ALUPASS CR-FREE chromium-free passivations are suitable for all types of aluminum and have many uses. A trivalent chromium film is produced on the surface of the element. The treatment does not change the metal properties. ALUPASS CR-FREE passivation can occur in technology with or without rinsing.
ALUPASS CR-FREE passivations are a chemical surface treatment for aluminum that deposits a chemically-anchored coating on aluminum parts, consisting of transition metal oxides and polymer resins. The treatment increases corrosion resistance and paint adhesion to high quality standards.
