AL-ZN
AL-ZN alkaline zinc processes work in a wide range of current densities and a wide range of zinc ion concentrations and temperatures, making the process spectacularly suitable for barrel applications as well. AL-ZN processes are ideally suited for barrel and rack applications, offering excellent metal distribution for optimum depth of coating. AL-ZN are available for sodium hydroxide (NaOH) or potassium hydroxide (KOH). The use of potassium hydroxide gives about 50% more yield. The AL-ZN process series is used as an integrated system with passivation and seals that are approved in the automotive industry.
